And the Adventure Begins...

October 19,2013

Welcome Everyone! This is a blog I set up to keep everyone up to date on my rise to fame here in Hollywood, California! So lets just dive right in. I'm warning you though.... this is going to be quite a long post but JUST KEEP READING... it's quality material... I PROMISE. :)

So, I finally began the move out to California on Sunday! Dad and I packed up my car and the van and started the trek... we stopped in Arizona to see one of my super awesome friends named Makayla! (pictured below). Yeah, her name is Makayla and it's spelled the same way that my name is #mindblown haha your welcome. :) While in Arizona we went to this SUPER delicious place called Costa Vida... its like amazing Mexican food. I had these delicious nachos and basically my mind was completely blown... into pieces. (also pictured below). Oh! Something super exciting happened while at this visit... Makayla and I have been trying to successfully watch The Little Mermaid for like the past three times we have visited each other... and This time we actually watched THE ENTIRE MOVIE for like the first time. It was kind of the most fantastic thing to happen. haha Dad and I also stayed at a hotel in Arizona that was like literally across the freeway from a temple being built so obviously I had to take a picture of it!

Pictured below was my first dinner here in Hollywood! It's Salt and Pepper Chicken on Roman Greens.... It was DELICIOUS. My roomate's mom took us out to eat at this place called Tender Greens, its like 4 blocks away from the school and was totally worth it. Pure deliciousness. Yum. :)

This is what my part of the apartment looks like! Yes that bulletin board has fallen like 18 millions times... yes its currently sitting by our apartment door until we find a better way to hold it up on the wall. I'll take suggestions from anyone and everyone thank you.

Emily built us a lamp because it was so incredibly dark in our room with only one light. So because Emily's parents are the most amazing parents ever they bought us a lamp, and it looks totally and incredibly fantastic in our place!

They also bought us a bookshelf. Note: Emily built that bookshelf using a pair of scissors as a screw driver... yeah she's like the bomb.com.

My mom sent our Halloween box with me in the car so we had a Halloween box opening party and decorated our door last night. Now we officially have the cutest door in the Franklin building.

This is what we do in the little amount of spare time we have here at AMDA... and its only orientation weekend. Note: Emily's face in this photo is pretty much my favorite part of it!

Emily being the amazing baker she is made us chocolate chip cookies with peanut butter cups in them.... basically they were the most delicious cookies I've ever consumed at 1 am. Thank you Emily for blessing my life in such a fantastic way.

Today was the first official day where we actually had time during the evening to just chill and hang out. So for dinner me and two of my SUPER AWESOME NEW FRIENDS went to Chipotle, and then ran to Walgreens for some little things... like command strips and hooks... and butter. Random, but totally crucial.

Pictured above is Daly, Me, and Marisa posing at a stop light while waiting for the walking sign to pop up! yeah... total models :)

All in all the first few days have been an absolute blast! I've met some super awesome and amazing people and have loved every minute of it! We had dance placements this past Friday and I think I did pretty well, finally got my wifi fixed for the most part and am just super eager to just start doing what I love every day of the week! AMDA has several shows that we are putting on this year and I'm planning on auditioning for the Dance Workshop. The rehearsal schedule is INSANE... like no joke every day 7pm-11pm and 10am-6pm on Sundays...crazy I know... but everyone says its like the most amazing thing, so auditions for that are this week so wish me luck!

That's about all I have for y'all this week, but stay tuned to hear about my first week of school! Love you all!
